Kreatelier’s innovative textile product design and manufacturing studio is located in Providence, Rhode Island.

Kreatelier was established in 2007 by two European friends, Pernilla Frazier and Line Daems. The two met as parents at the French American School of Rhode Island. They are the perfect match, a ying-yang combination of creative chaos and carefully considered organization.

Kreatelier is located on the East Side of Providence. Here Line and Pernilla design and create a wide variety of products, including window treatments and interior accents.

Kreatelier’s ever-expanding product line includes quilts, storage cases, headbands, car organizers, and reusable gift wraps. In addition to a signature line of textile products, Kreatelier offers select items from other brands and artists.

Line grew up in Belgium where her father founded a successful atelier*, where artisans worked and taught everything from pottery to lace making. Line’s mother had an extraordinary talent for organizing. Line shows the influence of both parents: in her keen appreciation for fine handiwork and her clever organizational case designs. Her spare, modern aesthetic is distinctly urban. Line advocates thoughtful design, “design that adds structure to daily life in a colorful way”. Line creates unique, European inspired textile products. Line and her family live in Arlington, Massachussets.* An atelier is a workshop or studio.

Pernilla was raised in Sweden by an effortlessly creative mother who sewed, painted, batiked, decorated and redecorated. The benefits of such an upbringing are apparent in Pernilla’s beautiful workmanship and the easy prettiness she brings to textile design. Her work ranges from modern country to chicly urban. Her extraordinary quilts combine vintage textiles and artful design, and have earned a steady stream of clients seeking personalized, meaningful pieces. Whether working on quilt commissions, home interiors or Kreatelier signature products, Pernilla revels in the collaborative process: “I get inspiration from clients. I love figuring out how to enhance individual style with fresh design.” The Frazier family lives near the ocean in Cranston, Rhode Island.
